Ram Buttri Alley, Talat Yot, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand
We have been there for three nights in a row 😅It’s a Reggae bar with live music🍁We met Ronny Nepalese guy, Pilar from Madrid 6 months traveler & Sofi 3 years traveler from Ecuador. Super friendly girls, I got so inspired as they shared their travel experiences. Ah…one got the norovirus one the dengue, it seems everyone traveling for long in Thailand gets sick 😪
ถนน วิสุทธิกษัตริย์ Bang Khun Phrom, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand
We randomly met “Sorella Emilia” from Bournemouth on the way to the temple, who actually met Paolo at the airport when he landed in Bangkok.
Maha Chai Road, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand
Signora Michelin that’s how we call her. Paolo keeps saying that she looks like a super hero of a cartoon movie. It is a street food owning a Michelin Star. Best Omelette and Pad Thai so far.
Thailand
Mr Chen took care of us driving around with an old style tuk tuk to explore the Ancient City. Can’t explain his sweetness and sympathy. We were supposed to take a mini bus to go back but we arrived late, I don’t know how many times Mr Chen apologized to us. We exchanged each other some written lines in our leagues on respective diaries. All the best Mr Chen, to you and your family 💛
Phra Sumen Road, Talat Yot, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand
The hostel where we slept for 3 nights, best location and decent room. They provide earplugs as there’s a constant noise from the electric panel 😅
Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi, Thailand
Floating Market Mr Pong was the driver, came to pick us up in Bangkok. He convinced us that Amphawa floating market was closed and drove to this one. Not the best choice as we felt a bit scammed. The market is a bit too much touristic and the feeling is that nothing is real or better to say that you don‘t breathe the atmosphere of a local place. But all in all good🧘
Mae Klong, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram, Thailand
Mr Pong was tired and rush us to visit the market quickly in order to reach Kanchanabury at a decent time as he had to go back to Bangkok. I’d say same vibes. I was more concentrated to capture some shots, kids were so excited for the train to pass ☺️
Thailand
Mr Pong with his smile said goodbye to us.
หมู่ 1 Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Grab driver didn’t say a word and we were tired too. We got to the resort and met Nancy, Soe, the Boss and her son E who were waiting for us for dinner ☺️ They have been so welcoming and we loved them so much for the entire stay
Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
After breakfast we drove to the National Park, at 9 in the morning was almost empty. We got to the top 7th spot. We met ShaSha who is a solo traveler from Israel, she was hidden in a small square smoking a joint. We have been speaking a lot, smoking and been silent to listen to the nature. She’s nice and told me about her next step, Myanmar, hope she’s gonna be safe over there as there’s a quite bad situation especially at the borders
Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Here is where we arrived after passing by a street market and bought 2 mangos, a few bananitos, a pack of crips and 2 big Leo🍻This beautiful camping with view was full of Thai people and just in front of it there is a nice temple with a big Buddha
บ้านพุกุ้ง ซอย 15 Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
This site was one of the best so far, very small, no tourists at all (we were the only ones), we could feel the vibes of a small Buddhist community
3199, Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
On the way down, the motorbike that Paolo was driving with me as passenger got a flat tire, we had to stop and go back to find a mechanic. Paolo jumped on the other bike and went back to find a mechanic trying to come back with them. While Nico and myself were waiting, a big track with 7/8 people stopped by. They started miming that they wanted to load the scooter into the van. They drove us few kms back. Thai people are like this, they help people in struggle and smile to them 💛
Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
After the misadventure we reached the top of the mountain to grab a coffe and enjoy the view (the view on the lake was pictured with my camera 📷)
Lum Sum, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Then we arrived here. The story of the Death Bridge is horrible. In 1942 the Japanese, during the south est Asia second world war, had to build the railway from Thanbyuzayat in Burma (now Myanmar) down to Nong Pladuk in Thailand for supplies. Thousands of Asians alongside prisoners of war, Australian and British, died to build it after been living in inhumane conditions. The pictures that we saw are shocking. Some one said “a life for every sleeper” 🌹
Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Only 20 mins kayak, they were about to close, and only myself as the guys did want to jump on it for that little time😅We met Kevin Nina n Tiago for drinks. Then we went back together at the camp for dinner, joints and more beers 🍻 The have been traveling for a couple of months only in Thailand, all of them on their early 40s working in hospitality. Nice chaps, funny and a bit crazy 🤪
U-Thong Soi 6 Rd Ban Tai, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
The Lady Boss, Soe and little E took us to the station. Last goodbyes and tips and we leave them.
Khao Noi, Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
We walked around for a bit to negotiate the best price to move to the Dragon temple. In the end we rented 2 motorbikes for 4 hours for a super convenient price. Went up to the top, 3000 steps. Then grab a lunch under an old bridge by the river, we had 2 stir noodle mix sea food, 1 portion of fried small fishies, 1 portion of fish balls and 1 of prawn tempura, when we are hungry we are fucking hungry🐷Fucking delicious, second place in ranking 🤤
Thailand
We came back to the station and took an overnight bus, 11 hours. The trip went quite smooth if it hadn't been for a sudden braking, a stop in the middle of nowhere and an uncle next to us who coughed for 5/6 hours until I asked Nico to offer him a Benagol, then we started hearing the uncle sucking the candy 😂
Chang Moi Kao Road, Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
We arrived around 6am.Took a cab from the bus terminal to the city center. The check in can’t happen before 2pm. We stopped in a coffe shop, mini tour around the center and we got the the guest house
Rachadamnoen Road, Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
A quick shower, a nap and we are down to explore. We ended up in this tiny temple.
Prapokklao Road, Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Still too early to go home.Quick look in the eyes and we lift each other up to go to another one. On the way back to the hostel, we met Pilar, the girl Paolo and I met in Bangkok. So nice meeting again like that. “We are going to Pai tomorrow““Genial, me coi también” ”Let’s go together!”That’s how it works when you’re traveling for a long trip!!
Sop Poeng, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Meeting point at 7Eleven around 10am just after leaving the backpacks in a locker and we are a fleet of 4 bikes. Mateusz is the 5th, we met him too in Bangkok with Piral and Sofi.We drove for an hour ish an we reached the awesome waterfall. Explore, walk, bathe under the waterfall and we‘re back on the roadway 🌊
Pai District, Mae Hong Son, Thailand
We reached Pai after 2 hour more.Shower, nap and out for dinner.Marcos, a Pilar’s friend from Bristol joined us. We went for a couple of gigs. Drinks, a joint, beers, cocktails.Nos cagamos de risa Tio 💛
Mae Hi, Pai District, Mae Hong Son, Thailand
In the morning we met for breakfast and drove to the hot springs which is only 30/40 mins away from Pai. The water reaches 100 degrees, you immerse yourself in a tub that reaches 50 ish, fucking hot anyway 🥵It was a chill morning. We drove back to Pai where I left all and start my mini solo trip for Ban Jabo village 🏡
Pang Mapha, Pang Mapha District, Mae Hong Son, Thailand
I drove 1.30 hours to reach this suggestive village. I arrived just before the sunset and enjoyed the view. The community is part of those populations known as mountain nomads whose main source of income was opium cultivation. The nomads began to settle in these mountains when malaria decimated the population and when the government, with the collaboration of some associations, built roads, brought electricity and water. I had dinner with the host family who are so kind and only communicate in their dialect. Slept in a wooden hut with an amazing view of the mountains.
Pang Mapha, Pang Mapha District, Mae Hong Son, Thailand
The night passed ok. Didn’t feel cold, I was wearing 4 layers of clothes and under two blankets. Heard many animal sounds Including roosters that probably stopped only for a couple of hours out of 9 🤯🐔Woke up at 5.30, a few minutes to understand where I was, brushed my teeth, packed my bag and met a local guy at 6 on the main road. The woman who welcomed me the day before, using google translate, arranged me the appointment suggesting me to follow this guy for the sunset🌅 The guy, wearing only two layers of clothes, a pair of flip flop and a hat, drove me on his bike for a few minutes to a gap between the sloping mountains overlooking the valley. We climbed for 10/15, literally climbing it wasn’t that easy and what’s more it was dark AF.When we are on the top..whatever Im gonna say, it won’t be enough to let you understand how was it and how I felt. We spent an hours sitting on the sharp rocks without saying a word!!💛

That was Paolo‘s awakening😂
ถนน เชียงใหม่-ฮอด, Ban Luang, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
A short stop on the way while going to Doi Inthanon. Nice temple, we where the only visitors, the shot was taken by the only guy in the parking area 🐉
Ban Luang, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
We reached Doi Inthanon National Park. It’s the highest mountain in Thailand. The summit is 2565 meter, that’s where we go tomorrow to enjoy the sunrise. We have a bungalow in a coffe farm. 300 meters down, towards the field we got lunch: 3 patsiu with mix sea food, 1 patsiu with chicken, 3 papaya salad and a few strawberry. We didn’t order all of that, it was a misunderstanding with the chef.Of course we ate all!🤤Then fell asleep “with the belly in hand”
Ban Luang, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
We woke up, enjoyed the coffee of the woman who owns the farm and we back on the scooter to reach the summit The Twin Pagoda to admire the sunset. We arrived late, on Saturday the place shuts early. We went down to the village but I decided stopped to explore a village as I had a feeling that it was worthy to see it properly. I refueled and went up for a road. The intuition was correct, I find myself in this mountain road teeming with illuminated greenhouses of various types of vegetables and small kiosks where you can eat. The view from above was fantastic, the photos don't do it justice. The starry sky was amazing ✨

Can’t pin out the island as the website will not recognize the route🤷🏻♂️. We arrived on the island, Paolo and I rented a scooter and went to monkey beach. Nico on another beach a bit more crowded and full of aquatic activities. We lay down, swam, ate and fell asleep. Nothing special but better than spend a day in Pattaya.
Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri, Thailand
We got back around 7 at the hostel. Shower, packing bags and went for dinner. I randomly found this restaurant which was about to close but we convinced the waiter to let us in with our heart-shaped eyes 😍Very good dishes and a bottle of wine, it was a bit expensive for our standards but worth it. The waiter offered us an infuse made from cashew nuts, delicious!
