  Arrival in Ouistreham on time and quickly out. The afternoon arrival meant that daylight made route finding easy, though the GPL station eventually found was just closing, so the diversion was wasted.The extra daylight made the planned stop at Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil seem much too early, so carried on to Lussac-les-Chateaux. A rather longer drive than I would have liked but quite manageable, arriving at 2140.I still needed gas, so stopped 3 times en route but no station would start the fill. It was as if my system wasn't connected. The pump was providing pressure as there was a good release of gas on pistol removal.

  À late arrival and a couple of vans in residence, but my usual stop was free. Weather changeable but very pleasant.I checked what I could on the gas system before attempting a fill at Montmorillon. This was not successful, so called Gaslow to discuss. He thought, as I did, that the most likely reason was a sticky non-return valve. There are 2: one in the external filler and one in the first cylinder. Disconnecting the filler hose at the first cylinder proved gas had entered at some stage. Having removed that pressure I returned to Montmorillon to see if (a) it would fill or (b) the inlet hose would fill. This would indicate which valve was causing the problem. I was hoping that, if it was the external filler, that the difference in pressure not present might force the nrv open. It did! Or at least it filled easily on the 2nd attempt. It remains to be seen what happens in a subsequent fill!I stayed 3 nights, allowing time for the gas fault finding, a Lidl shop and a general van sort-out, standard on first stop!

  Long drive but plenty of stops for coffee, shopping & diesel.Found this P4N stop while en route. Close to motorway and easy to access. Just public parking and close to the town road, but quiet from mid-evening. A good night's sleep. I tolls £58.20.

  After the busy, and very urban feeling, Italian motorways, nice to get into Croatia. The P4N stop by the sports centre was reasonably easy to find. A walk around the nearby Trsat Castle then moved the van into the main (level) carpark which then had space. Very quiet and just a short drive to access the motorway again in the morning.

  The old road used previously at Trogir is now barriered so stopped next to the road a little further along. Quite busy and noisy early evening, then quiet. No where near as nice as the old spot and certainly not somewhere to stay for more than one night.

  The new bridge and road bypassing Bosnia & Herzégovinia is very quick and certainly easier, but the old routes, whether crossing the 2 borders, or using the Ploče ferry, certainly had more character!The parking at Ston is excellent and reasonable cost at 9,20€/day. Easy to pay with the Bmove app.The weather was poor, very wet at times and grey, so the proposed walk along the impressive walls was abandoned for this visit.The old town is interesting and, suprisingly, still lived in, so didn't feel so much like a tourist attraction. The Tommy supermarket was friendly and well stocked. Stayed 2 nights while the weather was so poor.
