Polzeath beach is within 10 miles of the site and with a stretch of wide, flat golden sand is a good option for families. Tintagel is a popular coastal resort with enough shops, bars and restaurants to keep everyone in the family happy, but it is still best known for its dramatic castle, reputedly the birthplace of none other than King Arthur. The area offers a range of ancient countryside villages where you can taste the traditional flavours of ale and hearty Cornish food. For those who want a family getaway in magnificent coastal settings, this campsite will not disappoint.

We are on the edge of Northam Burrows Country Park which is ideal for walking, just beyond that is Westward Ho! beach and is about a mile long and Westward Ho! has a few shops several nice places to eat and enjoy a drink also the Royal North Devon Golf Club is about a mile from Seabreeze.A mile in the opposite direction is the old fishing village of Appledore which has lots of narrow streets with quaint cottages and offers spectacular views of the Taw and Torridge estuary and also has shops several eating and drinking places. Across the river Torridge from Appledore quay is the village of Instow which can be reached by the Appledore ferry, (not vehicular), fishing trips are also available from Appledore quay.Roughly 13 miles from Appledore on the A39 Atlantic highway is the fishing village of Clovelly which is famous for its cobbled High Street and attracts a lot of visitors during the season.The island of Lundy is accessible from Bideford or Ilfracombe onboard the passenger ferry MS Oldenburg.About half a mile from Seabreeze is a bus stop which runs between Bideford and Appledore every half an hour.
