Drive north on the B2 and B25 towards Nördlingen, a unique town located in a meteorite crater. In Nördlingen: You can walk along the medieval town walls on a complete circuit around the old town. Visit the St. George’s Church and climb the Daniel Tower for panoramic views of the town and the Ries Crater. Explore the Ries Crater Museum to learn about the impact event that formed the crater and its geological significance.

In Rothenburg ob der Tauber: This is a gorgeous little town. It's a medieval old town, with cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses. Visit the Market Square and climb the Town Hall Tower for awesome views. If you enjoy museums, visit the Medieval Crime Museum, showcasing medieval legal history. Alternatively, check out the street vendors and shops and don't miss the chance to try Schneeballs (snowballs)- a local delicacy of fried pastry which is delicious! Campsite:

Würzburg, a historic city famous for its architecture and vineyards. In Würzburg: The jaw-dropping Würzburg Residence is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and well worth a visit. So is the Marienberg Fortress, which has great views of the city and the Main River. Don't miss wandering the historic old town, or the Alte Mainbrücke, a bridge lined with statues of saints.
