Had planned to walk the Valley from the Rails Road car park but height barrier installed so drove to the cafe the other end of the walk and parked in a side street. Lovely walk past 20 ruins of mills used for grinding Sheffield steel, knives razor blades etc from around the 1700s. Scone and tea plus a cappuccino in the cafe at the end of the walk …perfect

Sue lives in Naresborough and clearly has owned the site since the war! Lockable Izal toilet paper holders still left on the back of the doors in the toilets and the shower whilst clean and works looks undesirable! Good location though with a short walk into the centre of town.
